Job Description:
A veteran owned media blasting, industrial painting, powder
coating, and light fabrication shop in Virginia Beach, VA, that
serves military and maritime customers, is seeking a full-time
professional Sales Executive Manager to work Monday through Friday
from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Saturday or late hours might happen
occasionally if there is a special meeting or sales event, but the
goal is a steady and reliable Monday through Friday 40-hour work
week to avoid weekend, night-time, and overtime work. The ideal
candidate will be an adaptable professional who already understands
industrial sales account management and how to leverage this
opportunity to increase his or her annual earnings through base
salary and commission by actively growing his or her customer base.
Knowledge of the coatings processes is required. The ideal
candidate enjoys collaborating with others within a fast-paced team
environment and will exhibit conscientious and careful workmanship
to ensure customer technical requirements are fulfilled.
Responsibilities include: · Develop and implement strategic
Territory Management Plans and individual Account/Opportunity Plans
with specified revenue goals and targets. · Identify and pursue new
business opportunities with manufacturers, fabricators, OEMs, and
industrial clients requiring finishing services. · Build and
maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective
customers to ensure long-term partnerships and repeat business. ·
Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical
discussions regarding powder coating products and applications. ·
Meet with prospective customers to review project requirements,
coating specifications, surface preparation needs, and finishing
options. · Collaborate with production teams to ensure product
specifications, color matching, and performance requirements meet
customer needs. · Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and
performance updates for leadership. · Negotiate pricing, contracts,
and supply agreements with customers while maintaining company
margin objectives. · Monitor market trends, competitor activity,
and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product
development or market expansion. · Travel within assigned territory
to visit customers, attend industry events, and develop new
business relationships. · Support customers with application
guidance, troubleshooting, and coordination with technical staff
when needed. · Providing data input into various systems, i.e.,
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in support of the above duties ·
Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: · Understanding
of Powder Coating, and Wet Painting fundamentals is required for
this position? · Eight ( 8 ) or more years of successful career
experience as a Sales Account Manager or Sales Account Executive
for an industrial operation in a paint or coatings operation ·
BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications,
or similar relevant field · Hands-on experience in sales and
customer relationship management and an ability to deliver an
excellent customer experience. · Strong working knowledge of
Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro products. · An understanding
of basic financial concepts relevant to sales like profit margins,
overhead rates, material costs, Cost of Goods Sold, etc. ·
Excellent communication, writing, persuasion, and negotiation
skills; a knack for detail, especially when documenting customer
technical specifications and requests like sizes, coating types,
quantities, deadlines, etc. · An ability to deliver projects and
answer inquiries on time, whether the deliverables are for an
external customer or an internal customer like the Chief Executive
Officer or the Chief Operating Officer · Business acumen with a
