Manager Hampton Roads, VA Description Atlantic Lift Systems is a
local, independently owned and rapidly expanding rental equipment
company, and has an excellent opportunity for a motivated
salesperson to join our growing team. Our company focuses on the
government, ship building/repair and commercial construction
segments and offers short and long-term equipment rentals, sales
and service. We are searching for qualified and ambitious
individuals with a passion for customer service for our Sales &
Territory Manager position in our Norfolk Branch. The Sales &
Territory Manager is responsible for managing the current customers
within the territory, along with growing the business through
net-new customers. The target market within the territory will be
the commercial construction industry, focusing on customers who
need aerial equipment, material handling equipment, along with dirt
moving, temporary power and compressed air. Th TSR serves as the
“face” of Atlantic Lift Systems and will be the point of contact
for all sales, rentals, quotes, and site visits. There will be a
significant amount of in person cold calling involved, in order to
establish relationships with the key contacts at all potential
customers in the territory. This position will be required to work
cross functionally within each department (service, rental counter,
and dispatch/transportation) to understand how each of these plays
an important role in our business. Responsibilities include:
Maintain and build relationships as you service current clients.
Prospect for new clients. Phone and in-person cold calling will be
necessary. Sell and promote new and used equipment. Be available
through phone, email or in-person to all customers within the
territory. Maintain CRM system, generate quotes, enter orders and
assist in coordination of deliveries. Create weekly sales plan.
Plan will be reviewed with manager every week. Facilitate
collection of payments from clients when needed. Benefits Package

Requirements: Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must
possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle. 2 years of
sales experience and a working knowledge of various types of mobile
equipment. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Strong project management and problem-solving skills required. Must
possess ability to clearly present information to clients and
staff. Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
and strong computer skills. High School Diploma or equivalent,
bachelor's degree preferred. The right candidate must be trainable,
teachable and have tremendous desire to earn over $100,000 in a
variable compensation plan. You must have prior income of at least
$80,000 in a salary and commission plan.
