Employer ("ABG"), LLC, is searching for a National Vendor Processor to join our Field Administration Accounting Accounts Payable team based in Virginia Beach. This job contributes to the success of Employer by being responsible for auditing transactions completed in various ABG systems to insure compliance with the policies and procedures set forth by ABG. Job Summary: This job contributes to the success of Employer by coordinating and controlling all additions, changes and deletions to the vendor file for all business brands, (ABG, Canada and Budget Truck). Associate will also be responsible for some bank functions to include voids, reissues, stop payments and positive pay confirmation. The essential duties and responsibilities as well as knowledge, skills and abilities include but are not limited to the following: Review all requests from Virginia Beach, field personnel, and WHQ for additions to the vendor master for validity and accuracy.Set up Vendor for ACH payment.Verify that the vendor addition has not been previously added under another name.Review sample invoices as evidence of necessity for vendor additionDetermine if the vendor addition fulfills IRS 1099 reporting requirements.Validate and process all requests for vendor changes including changes to address, vendor names, 1099 status, etc.Process tax levies including the monitoring of the levies to satisfy tax requirements. Includes verification of all documentation and assuring that the payment is directed to the appropriate taxing authorityEvaluate and process all requests to place vendors on a payment hold statusOther duties as assigned Required Experience College education in related field or three years equivalent experience.Three to five years experience handling confidential financial information with the ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
