Virginia Beach-based company is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to join our Inventory Management team. As an Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records of product receipts, overseeing inventory reconciliation, and producing import and export documentation. This is a critical role that requires exceptional organizational abilities, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with vendors, management, and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Receive, confirm, approve, and accurately log all product receipts within the terminal and MPB (Material Planning and Budgeting system). Manage and reconcile daily and monthly inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established processes and guidelines. Prepare and submit daily inventory reports to management, providing clear and concise information on inventory levels and discrepancies. Generate weekly and monthly import and export documents, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and maintaining proper documentation. Track and trace shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while maintaining communication with relevant stakeholders. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors, coordinating order placement, inventory forecasting, and resolving any issues that may arise. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data related to contracts and pricing information, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to inventory control, logistics, and supply chain management.
