-giving hope.About the RoleAs a -Senior Cost Analyst, -you will be
responsible for overall development and maintenance of standard
cost system for produced or procured inventory. You will play a key
strategic role in understanding and streamlining the organization's
cost footprint by working on process improvements with functional
leaders. Leads inventory and manufacturing-related month-end close
process and provides variance analysis. Manages company-wide
overhead and expense allocations across several departments and
multiple plants. Develops tools and systems to routinely analyze
and refine the cost of revenue estimates. Plays a major role in the
development of the annual budget by owning the cost of goods and
variances related to forecasting.What You Will Do
Lead the process of Product Costing
and Variance AnalysisPerform in-depth analysis on complex
analytical situations and provides recommendations to leadership
regarding historical and current trends to forecast future
performanceAnalyzes cost systems and develops requirements for
upgrades and works with cross-functional teams to implement
required changes -Ensure accuracy of inventory valuation and
compliance to GAAPAnalyze and forecast variances as the subject
matter expertUpdate and provide inventory-related process memos to
financial auditorsLead financial aspects of the annual physical
inventory process and cycle count programSummarize inventory
reconciliations across multiple plants and provide audit
supportConduct monthly and quarterly audits of raw material
inventory in warehouse and production areasWhat You Bring to the
Table
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or
Finance; Master's Degree preferredSeven (7) -years experience -in
Accounting or FinanceThree (3) years experience in Cost
AccountingTwo (2) years ERP experience -preferredThese would be
nice too (Knowledge Skills and Abilities)
Proficient in MS Office: -PowerPoint,
Work, Outlook, Microsoft Suite and Advanced proficiency in
Excel.Organizational Skills: -Ability to plan, implement and
monitor tasks and assignments effectively.Communication Skills:
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to
communicate and build relationships with all professionals at
different levels within the organization.Time Management: -Able to
prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload.
Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple
time sensitive projects, multi-task, identify project
interdependencies and potential risks/pitfalls while maintaining a
sense of focus and urgency.Attention to Detail: -Able to perform
tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure high degree
of accuracy/completeness and early/on-time delivery.(Preferred)
-Computer Skills: -Build analytical tools in Excel using VBA.What

Salary range of $85-115K depending on
