Description:Assist in the development of accurate electrical designs, programs and documentation while providing high quality customer service to internal and external customers. Design, assembly, and testing of electrical control systems and control panels for systems. -Generate electrical designs for automated control systems to meet customer needs for general custom applications.-Programmable logic controller and operator interface terminal programs for automated control systems to meet customer needs for general custom applications.-Generate sequence of operations and other engineering specification documents for automated vacuum control systems to meet customer needs for general custom applications.-Assist in the maintenance of standard electrical designs, programs and documentation for automated control systems.-Bench test and system automated vacuum control systems in a production environment-System test automated control systems in a production environment.-Write commissioning procedures for electrical installations.-Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve technical issues-Assist in the review of existing Electrical Engineering guidelines and procedures to identify necessary revisions, deletions or amendments-Lead the Electrical Engineering team in the absence of the Electrical Engineering Supervisor-Contribute to the continued increased efficiency in use of the design and programming software through an in-depth knowledge of the software.Top Skills Details:AutoCAD, PLC programming, electrical design, Electrical engineering, Design, Power distribution system, Automated control systems.Additional Skills & Qualifications:-Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school) Required, Field of Study: Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology-3 to 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or related field.-Working knowledge of digital test instruments (i.e. multi-meters); Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming, Operator Interface Terminals and similar automation control systems and components.-Hands on experience with common hand tools used in the electrical field; Experience in technical writing; Working knowledge reading and interpreting electrical wiring, Piping and Instrumentation Diagram/Drawing (P&ID) and associated electrical control documentation; Programming and configuration of PLC's, Operator Interface Terminals (OIT) and VFD's; Knowledge of power distribution systems, automated control systems, electrical and controls instrumentation, and the National Electrical Code (UL 508A, UL 1203, NFPA 99 and NFPA 79); Ability to read and interpret electrical drawingsComputer Skills:-Proficient computer skills, including electronic mail, Microsoft Office Suites (routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.). -Ability to utilize AutoCAD to modify and review electrical assembly and wiring diagrams. -Ability to utilize Rockwell Automation software to modify and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and HIM/OIT program code.
