Job Description:

SJS Industrial, LLC (SJS), also doing business as SJS Executives, is seeking a safety and detail-oriented Material Handler who will work in our Virginia Beach warehouse providing delivery and pick up services to our various clients in and around the Hampton Roads region. Working hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, occasional overtime or Saturday work could occur. Pay for this position is $15.00 hourly. We also receive 7 paid holidays, 2 floating holidays, and PTO. SJS is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that specializes in powder, ceramic, and clear coating serving businesses and military/government agencies in the Hampton Roads area. Responsibilities will include:Check incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quality standardsLoad and unload packagesOrganize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts, pallets, cranes etc.Receive and check incoming pick ticketsPull material to fulfill orders properlyWrap orders and place them on trucks for deliveryMonitor inventory levels and suggest new orders when neededDocument orders, materials, and any stock movementsMust be able to remain on one's feet in an upright position and move about on foot for duration of shift. Will bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach at or above shoulder levelPerform clean-up duties throughout your shift as requiredObserve all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to managementFollow all written and verbal instructionsAttend all safety and production trainingDemonstrate a positive and professional attitudeMust be able to meet all requirements to access military basesAble to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends.Qualifications:Current and valid Virginia's State Driver license.Forklift skills a plus.Must pass drug test and background check.
