Our client is looking for a Sandblaster to join their team in St. Albans .

Sandblaster Duties:

• Operate sandblast machine to remove paint, rust, corrosion, etc. from variousforms of metal while wearing protective clothing.
  
  • Responsible for shoveling or pouring sand, grit, or other abrasive material into the machine, and monitoring and maintaining an adequate supply of the abrasive in the hopper.
  • Keep sandblast area organized.
  • Communicate with team members when jobs are complete and ready for the next step.
  • Track blast times for office use.
    Skills, and Abilities Required:
    
    
    • Ability to read and write
    • Stand for long periods of time
    • Good eye-hand coordination
    • Lift 100lbs
    • Reliable transportation
    • Willing to become forklift certified if not already.
    • Positive attitude is a must
