Beaufort, LLC, a leading provider of regulatory, quality, and clinical solutions for in-vitro diagnostic companies is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual who can fill the role of Senior Budget Project Analyst.

The Senior Budget Project Analyst will be a key member of the Finance team working closely with the VP of Finance and members of the leadership team. This position contributes to the achievement of financial and business objectives through accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting for complex projects. The Senior Budget Project Analyst also works cross-functionally with operations, business development, and accounting to report associated revenue, costs, contract values, forecasting and billing.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares, tracks and maintains accurate project budgets in project management system.
Invoices, generates forecasts, and performs project cost analysis for complex contracts and/or strategic partnership accounts.
Performs analysis of budget to actual data on a monthly or other specified basis.
Works closely with project lead to update resource forecasts and unit grids, present and resolve pending issues with resource forecasts, unit grids and contract modifications.
Performs cash flow and variance analysis for assigned projects.
Provides financial guidance to operations management and other staff.
Coordinates with internal staff to ensure sponsors are invoiced in a timely and accurate manner. (Attends internal project meetings and interprets impact to budgets.)
Leads and participates in the analysis of cost assignments, ensuring all assigned projects adhere to accepted cost accounting standards.
Leads review and delivery of internal/external reporting.
Serves as a mentor and lead for team members.
Makes recommendations for process improvements and participates in special projects as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, mathematics or associated field.
Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.

REQUIRED SPECIALIZED SKILLSETS
Project leadership and consultancy skills within ability to function as an effective and respected partner to internal clients.
Knowledge of accounting/financial principles and best practices.
Ability to apply advanced knowledge, skills, and expertise to analysis.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
Advanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel for analysis and presentation of data. (Experience with NetSuite's OpenAir project management system as well as reporting software experience, such as BI, is helpful).
Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity.
Solid budgeting and forecasting skills.
Solid problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Capable of focusing on individual projects while covering similar aspects across multiple projects.
Capable of working independently.
Capable of providing mentorship and promoting teamwork in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
Solid organizational skills with the ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities.
Positive attitude and the ability to work well with others.
