Job Location: Virginia, Beach, VA Job Category: Management Job Status: Full Time Job Description: An established marine engineering and technical services firm has an immediate opening in its Virginia Beach office for a Program Control Analyst. The Program Control Analyst will be responsible for supporting Program Managers and analyzing contract and financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying data. Job Requirements / Skill Sets: Perform financial analysis in support of ongoing program management Support internal financial reporting deliverables as directed by the Area Manager. Monitors contract performance to determine the necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations Assist, track, and submit Funding Modification Request and Limitation of Funds Notifications (LOFs) and contract de-obligations. Ensure proper follow up if funding is not received Assist Program Managers with purchase orders and subcontract agreements Helps develop and review procedures, processes, and products to identify possible improvements to better support customer needs and reduce costs and errors Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills; must be a business and customer team player with the ability to maintain great working relationships with senior leaders and staff throughout the organization Significant experience with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Word and Excel Ability to work independently and successfully manage a high-volume, diverse workload consisting of a wide variety of contract types Qualifications: Minimum of five years--- experience in management of U.S. Navy contracts Experience must include Government contract administration and management relative to FFP, CPFF, CPIF and T&M type contracts Knowledge and experience in subcontract agreements, Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI), and Vendor Purchase Orders Program control financial management experience in a government contracting environment Education: Bachelor of Science or Arts degree (or equivalent related experience) with five or more years--- experience in Federal Government Contracting.
