We offer competitive pay with a flexible benefits plan that includes medical, dental, vision and prescription drug insurance, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, paidtime off, and 401(K) savings options.The essential functions of this position is to perform boiler duties within scope of classification to include equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, emergency breakdown, and equipment failure.Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform routine preventative maintenance on boiler equipmentDiagnose failures to boiler equipment and make repairsRebuild boiler equipment as neededMaintain records and logs as requiredCompile and complete paperwork relative to repairs to include but not limited to work orders, time cards, and job cardsPerform all work within safety guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies as well as company policiesPerform other assigned task as assigned by SupervisorExperience RequirementsState Stationary Engineer Level 1 License requiredBoiler operator with 5-7years experienceBoiler Operator Certification requiredValid state driver's license requiredMinimum EducationHigh School Graduate or GED preferredAdvanced technical training preferredEnvironmental Factors and Physical RequirementsBe able to move freely throughout the Division facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0-150')Carrying tools and equipment (0-100 pounds)Exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees F)Humidity (0-100%)Noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available)Must be able to wear protective equipment to include self-contained breathing apparatusPerdue Farms, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
