Sentara is hiring a Registered Neurodiagnostic/ EEG Tech for
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital's Epilepsy Program, in Norfolk,
Virginia.
Hours/Shift:
Flexi (one 12-hour shift per week)
REQUIREMENTS:
Department/Position Overview:
Performs a wide variety of neurophysiological diagnostic studies in
the laboratory, intra-operatively and in the intensive care
settings; operates and performs preventative maintenance on complex
monitoring instruments; documents all acquired data for
interpretation; ensures tests performed are properly ordered,
charged and reported; makes independent assessments that may
indicate urgent medical interaction.

Job Summary
Performs a wide variety of neurophysiological diagnostic studies in
the laboratory, intra-operatively and in the intensive care
settings; operates and performs preventative maintenance on complex

Competency in three areas or primary specialty work in the area of
epilepsy or evoked potential intra-operative monitoring.
1 years experience in lieu of degree required.
Qualifications:
TS - Trade School Graduate: Electroneurodiagnostic Tech
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart
Association (AHA) RQI, Certification in Neurophysiologic
Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) - Certifications - American Board
of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential
Technologists (ABRET), Registered Electroencephalographic
Technician (EEG) - Certifications - American Board of Registration
