DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS Day Support We are now hiring DSP to provide day support services to adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities. Days- Monday-Friday! Job Responsibilities

• Provide services to adults with developmental disabilities /intellectual disabilities to encourage independence in the following areas:
• Mobility, Health Care, Personal Care, Leisure, Life Skills, Socialization, Community Integration, Emotional regulation.
• Implements Individual Service Plans
• Participates in monthly group activities as well as individual activates
• Completion of all notes and documentation Must be able to:
  • Handle physical aspects of job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time. May be required to lift up to 20 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Drive City vehicles to include wheelchair van
  • Must pass Federal, State & CPS Background checks as required by licensing
  • Possess a valid Driver's License in the State of VA or NC & acceptable Driving record by the DMV and maintain acceptable status Certifications or Immunizations needed at the time of hire/on-boarding
    • First Aid/CPR Certification-Must maintain certification
    • Requires proof of TB
    • Require proof COVID Vaccine as subject to the emergency regulation by the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services. Pay Rate $16.25
