Position: System Analyst
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months

Job Roles:

• Analyzes user requests for new or improved computer information systems; researches current technologies in computer systems to recommend solutions to user problems or needs.
• Uses Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Monitors trends and new developments in computer information systems technology and assists in development of plans, policy, and procedures for computer information system operations.
• Designs, develops, debugs, and installs new computer information system applications. Develops diagrams and flowcharts for system design; under direction of senior analysts, prepare informational systems documentation to provide historical and operating data on an automated system.
• Modifies existing software to improve operations, consolidate programs, reduce complexity, or otherwise improve information system operations.
• Assists users with information requirements and designs report formats to satisfy user needs.
• Researches the capability of various systems; participate in the testing and debugging of programs and systems; execute tests and observe behavior of the system to validate performance.
• Documents functional and non-functional requirements for technology solutions; reviews existing applications to define problems and information processing requirements; assists IT staff in developing and preparing design docs, testing, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.
• Provides system and network administration and security; controls user access to systems; ads and deletes users and assigns passwords as required.
• Attends or conducts staff or training meetings to exchange information; attends in-service training and technical or professional classes, seminars, or conferences to improve technical or professional skills; serves on committees and boards engaged in computer information systems activities.
  
  Minimum/Special/Additional Requirements:
  Mid-Level 4-6 years' experience, Project Management experience.
