• Required: Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program
• Required: BLS
• Required: Communication; Critical Thinking; Operation and Control; Speaking; Technology/Computer; Writing
• Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required for certain sites that do both Radiology and Lab.
• Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must obtain ARRT registry within 180 days of hire.Position OverviewConducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include: positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic Radiology systems and preparation of patient room/equipment/medications.Facility HighlightsSentara Princess Anne HospitalSentara Princess Anne Hospital, located in Virginia Beach, VA, is a Magnet Status, general medical and surgical facility with 160 beds.
