City/StateNorfolk, VAOverviewWork ShiftFirst (Days) (United States of America)Sentara Leigh Hospital located in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking an Echocardiographer Team Lead to support the Non-Invasive DepartmentShift: Full Time Days with required call.Relocation Assistance can be provided for qualified candidate.Responsibilities:Performs cardiac echocardiography of the heart and associated structures using routine and advanced technical skills. Participate in the professional development of staff and students. Assist Cardiology Manager with daily operations, schedule, coordination of work, achievement of department goals and objectives. Solid knowledge of Echocardiography equipment and serves as technical resource for other department personnel.Hands on role, Team Lead will support team with Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, Doppler, 2-D, 3-D, and Strain imaging. Education/Experience:1 year of echocardiography experience is required. Supervisory experience is preferred. Associate's Level Degree - CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY OR Bachelor's Level Degree - CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY OR High School Grad or Equivalent with Echocardiographer experience in lieu of education will be considered.Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) required.BLS required.Benefits: Sentara offers an attractive array of full-time benefits to include:
