Position Summary:The candidate will act as the subject matter support through their expertise and advice as well as hands-on assistance to Government personnel. The role will instill credibility, excellence, and innovation in the business approach and the acquisition lifecycle process. The candidate will provide input into and/or creates and executes user documentation and training materials. The candidate act as a definitive source of knowledge that contributes expertise to enhance organizational efficiency evaluates organizational needs and recommends best practice viable technical solutions. Job Function:

• This role will provide pertinent technical advice, assistance, and guidance to contracting and non-contracting professionals concerning procurement-related matters.
• Assist in the development of training plans.
• Support the execution of procurement-related training activities.
• The role will assist in creating/editing/updating hard copy and/or electronic training-related products such as announcements, course outlines, and training materials. Job RequirementsExperience:
  • A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience within the following areas:
  • Executing DoD contracts and procurement-related functions, including in-depth knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, NMCARS, and other DoD and DoN policies and guidance.
  • Development of training, SOPs, and other contract and related procurement materials.
  • Research, collection, and organization of information required for the preparation of training materials.
  • Facilitation of training events.Educational Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related fieldClearance:
      • Active Secret Clearance is REQUIRED at the time of hireWork Environment:
        • Hybrid work mode with an average of two (2) work days a week on-site at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. A parking pass will be provided for you.
