DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS We are now hiring for DSPs to provide direct care to Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities VARIOUS HOURS AND SHIFTS AVAILABL E Job Responsibilities

• Provide services to adults with Developmental Disabilities Provide support and skill building with living skills, health maintenance and medication administration, personal care, and behavioral development. Assist individuals with reaching personal goals within Individualized Support Plan (ISP) Documents services provided. Assist or administer medications as directed Performs and or assist with personal care tasks, including assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation, medical monitoring, and health care related tasks.
• Performs home management functions such as light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and cleaning. Accompanies clients to scheduled appointments and transports clients or running errands for clients. Other duties as assigned. Salary $16.09 Must be able to:
  Handle physical aspects of job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time. May be required to lift up to 20 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally Ability to pass or have Medication Management Training Certification Must pass Federal, State & CPS Background checks as required by licensing Possess a valid Driver's License in the State of VA or NC & acceptable Driving record by the DMV and maintain acceptable status Job Requirements:Qualifications:

  High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Two years of experience working with adults who have intellectual disabilities CNA or other Medial Exp. Use of electronic health record Computer skills - Certifications needed at the time of hire
