DETAILED JOB DUTIES

The Mail Clerk plays an integral role in assisting the Mortgage Assistance department. The position holds administrative duties from verifying thoroughness and accuracy of documents, filing and preparing mitigation materials and providing timely communication both internally and externally.

  • Sort, notate, and distribute all incoming faxes, email, and mail correspondence within 48 hours of receipt
  • Log all faxes, email, and mail correspondence on tracking logs
  • Prepare and mail blank loss mitigation packages to the borrower
  • Open loss mitigation workstation for all new loss mitigation requests
  • Filing documentation
  • Additional duties may be assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency with MS Windows, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task
