Job Summary:

Technical Subject Matter Expert Lead will provide oversight, mentorship and participate in the review and assessment of the Test & Evaluation (T&E) program to ensure the successful development of code and configuration changes for Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

Job Duties:

  • Serve as the designated Lead Tester providing subject matter expertise as a representative on the T&E Working Integrated Product Team (WIPT)and Government Test Team for test planning, test execution and test reporting
  • Plan and execute T&E program in accordance with Navy ERP Integrated System Test Plan (ISTP)
  • Contribute to quality assurance and quality control reviews and assessments
  • Participate in major technical, engineering, test and program events to include Test Readiness Reviews
  • Conduct all T&E activities within the Navy ERP non-Production Quality Control environment, ensuring that all data is cleansed and control, as required
  • Verify compliance with design specifications, business rules, quality assurance/control standards, FISCAM requirements and cyber security standards
  • Utilize positive and negative conditions to comprehensively assess quality, functional, unit testing
  • Conduct Quality Manual Testing and Automated Regression Testing, including break-fix to validate new corrections
  • Support System Integration Test plan development and execution to evaluate Navy ERP system performance and interface conformance
  • Participate in the agile/scrum process by promptly creating defects and prescribing resolutions within applicable tools such as JIRA, ITSM, etc.
  • Update/document changes to project requirements, as required and ensure traceability between technical requirements and test artifacts such as test scripts, test cases and test reports.
  • Provide subject matter expertise necessary to update and maintain test-related SOPs, T&E processes and guidelines, TEMP and ISTP.
  • Capture test metrics and develop test reports with clear traceability to user requirements, derived requirements, Navy ERP specifications, and Key Performance Parameters (KPP) and Critical Technical Parameters (CTP) indicated in the Navy ERP ISTP and Navy ERP TEMP.

Mandatory Skill Requirements (must have):

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of practical experience with "Agile Software Projects",
  • Demonstrated skills in three (3) of the following five (5) areas:
  • Systems Requirements
  • Operational Requirements
  • Data Analysis
  • Test & Evaluation
  • Training

  • NOTE: Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
  • Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and/or public service (e.g., federal, state, or local) leadership in "Engineering or Computer Science".
  • Experience with Hewlett-Packard Quality Center (HPQC), Worksoft Certify or equivalent systems
  • Familiar with traditional and Agile/Scrum methodologies for planning and execution of test activities.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Customer-oriented
  • Clearly communicate ideas to others verbally and in writing.

Certified Scrum Master

Education/Equivalent:

Technical Training in "Engineering or Computer Science ".
