Virginia Beach company in search of a Civil Engineer-in-Training to join our Virginia Beach, VA team.* DIRECT HIRE, PERMANENT POSITON.* TO APPLY: COMPLETE our Online Application at: http://expresspros.com/virginiabeachva then call us to verify we received it, 757-961-8368* PAY: Depending on experienceJOB DESCRIPTION / QUALIFICATIONS:As an EIT, you will perform a variety of civil engineering tasks:* Supporting various project managers and collaborating with team members.* There is both on-the-job and formal training and exposure to plan production.* Must be familiar with the new storm water regulations for design and calculations as well as background in residential and commercial site plans.* The ability to conduct cost estimating is a necessity.Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in a similar field* 1-2 years of applicable work experience strongly preferred* EI or EIT certification or the ability to quickly obtain certification* Knowledge of residential drainage design* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills* Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines* Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment* Ability to work independently and as a team* Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation and/or GIS
