Full-Time Duties SummaryYou will serve as an Information Systems
Security Officer (ISSO) in the CYBER SECURITY BRANCH;
ACIO/INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIVISION; CORPORATE OPERATIONS
DEPARTMENT of NAVSURFWARCENACT DAM NECK VA.ResponsibilitiesYou will
perform security reviews, identify gaps in security architecture,
and develop a security risk management plan.You will oversee and
provide input to the Risk Management Framework process activities
and related documentation (e.g., system life-cycle support plans,
concept of operations, operational procedures, and other
artifacts).You will implement security measures to resolve
vulnerabilities, mitigate risks and recommend security changes to
system or system components as needed.You will implement system
security measures in accordance with established procedures to
ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication,
and non-repudiation.You will work with stakeholders to resolve
computer security incidents and vulnerability compliance
discrepanciesYou will conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of
planned and installed information systems to identify
vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs.You will correct
security vulnerabilities in assigned systems in response to
problems identified by vulnerability reports and scans.You will
verify that application software/network/system security postures
are implemented as stated, documenting deviations and recommending
required actions to correct those deviations.You will support
necessary compliance activities (e.g., ensure system security
configuration guidelines are followed, compliance monitoring and
reporting occurs).You will ensure plans of actions and milestones
or remediation plans are in place for vulnerabilities identified
during risk assessments, audits, inspections, etc.You will
establish and collect metrics to monitor and validate cyber
workforce readiness; including analysis of cyber workforce data to
assess the status of positions identified, and that qualified
personnel are filling those positions.Travel RequiredOccasional
travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain
the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area
75-Strategic Planning/Policy; Advanced level within 12 months of
appointment.Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test
(including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment
will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test
appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random
testing.This position may require travel from normal duty station
to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You
must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for
extended periods of time.This is a Mission Essential position. You
will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of
operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential
to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of
specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band
(GS-11/12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent
experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience
must demonstrate the following: Applying Information Technology
(IT) security principles to monitor and evaluate systems compliance
with cybersecurity requirements. Your experience must reflect skill
in the following areas:1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when
performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.2)
Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any
individuals who use or receive the services or products that your
work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who
work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the

(DCWF) role of 752 - Cyber Policy and Strategy Planner proficiency

of the position is required to maintain qualifications in
accordance with DON Cyber Workforce Program requirements of SECNAV
M-5239.2. This designation requires:1) The incumbent participate in
a continuous learning (CL) program as described in SECNAVINST
5239.20A and SECNAV M-5239.2. An annual 20 hour minimum of Cyber
Workforce related continuous learning must be documented in a
