The Institute strives to broaden participation in the arts among underserved communities through tuition assistance, bi-lingual staff and marketing, and urban outreach initiatives. Fun Fact About Us Our organization is governed and staffed by people of color. We serve 95% minority students, who benefit in creative, academic and social ways. A signature of the Institute is our Youth Leader Program and also our weekly Friday Teen Arts Night. What You'll Work On * A press kit compiling: Your organization's backgrounder (an about us page), at least one press release about the event, logo(s) and other visual assets, contact and background information for key staff member(s) at the organization, other relevant press coverage * Recommendation(s) for how to share the event in the media * Note: This project does not encompass the writing of materials or creation of visual assets * Additional Details As the Institute of Music for Children prepares to celebrate its 25th anniversary on December 7th, we are looking not just for a press kit, but for someone who can pitch our success story to New York and national press.
