Our client, an international manufacturer, is seeking Machine Operators to join their team in Virginia Beach, VA. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the polymer team setting up and operating production machines. The ideal candidate will have communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Machine Operator Location: Virginia Beach, VA Shifts: A, B, C, D shifts available Pay Range: Starting Pay at $17.00/hr. (increases depending on shift) After 2-week probationary period, the pay rate increases (depending on shift) to $18.00/hr. and increases to $19.00/hr. after 90 days working. B/D shifts will have a higher increase from shift differential. Additional Pay Incentives: all associates are eligible for a $0.25 cent raise each order for the first year of employment. After 1 year, all associates are eligible for a $1.00 raise each year. What’s the Job? Sets up, operates and tends production machines as they process parts and restarts machines Heavy lifting required Replaces worn or broken machine accessories Inspects completed product for any defects May assist in other areas of the plant What’s Needed? Previous work experience as a machine operator is required Experience and ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly Ability to stand for long periods of time High School Diploma or GED Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly Reliable Transportation What’s in it for me?
