Position Details :
Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Norfolk, VA
Shift: 7am-4pm Monday-Friday
Compensation: $35/hr +$4/hr added when traveling, $780/yr phone, $100/yr luggage, per diem $75
W2 Looks like $100k

Travel: 80%, Monday-Friday on the road, home on weekends.

Position Description:
As the Field Service Technician, you will perform the Installation, integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a complete range of world-class case packers, vertical robotic products, and palletizers. You will travel Monday through Friday and be home for the weekend. Your team currently supports 3,600 machines nationwide.

Requirements:
The ideal candidates for the Field Service Engineer role should live within 1 hour of a major airport. You should have 3 years of electromechanical or industrial mechanic experience. The company places a strong emphasis on candidates who have a personality customer focused and can seamlessly integrate into the role and contribute immediately. A strong PLC background will get you an offer upon interview. Preparedness to discuss hands-on knowledge with specific examples is crucial, and the employer highly regards individuals with experience in the military. You must be willing to travel this is a high travel position, at customer sites Monday-Friday, home on weekends.
