creative UX/UI .Net Front End Developer (focus on the Microsoft
solution stack) to join our Humanitarian Services IT team in
supporting applications that help to deliver ARC's Humanitarian
Services mission delivery to support disaster response and relief,
service to the armed forces and their families, and our
international mission. We work directly with our mission partners
on the discovery, design, development, and ongoing enhancement of
our digital product portfolio.WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD
(Key Responsibilities):* Implement application design and
development across multiple technology areas* Design and develop
applications across multiple technology areas in close
collaboration with product managers and UX/service designers*
Deploy changes to the partial/full stack for testing and
troubleshooting* Develop automated tests with Angular and Cypress*
Keep abreast of new technologies and be aware of industry
standards, best practices, and trends* Participate in developing
new functionality and migrating the application into the cloud and
introducing new technologies into the tech stack.* Translates
business requirements into technical specifications and decides
timeline to accomplish* Interprets the relationships between data
and develops tabular and other multidimensional data modelsWORK
LOCATION: The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home
anywhere in the USA.PAY INFORMATION: The annual salary range for
this position is $110K - $120K. We do not offer an annual bonus for
this role. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the
specific geographic location in which the work is primarily
performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual
salary may include your specific skills, how many years of
experience you have and comparison to other employees already in
this role. **We will review specific salary information at the time
of phone screening based upon your location & experience.**Scope:
Individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Apply
subject matter knowledge. Capacity to understand specific needs or
requirements to apply skills/knowledge.Qualified candidates must be
authorized to work in the United States. The American Red Cross
does not sponsor employment visas.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
(required/minimum qualifications):* At least 4 years of IT systems
development experience, with a primary focus on developing web
applications for content management in the Microsoft solution
stack.* 2+ years of experience in Javascript along with frameworks
like Angular v2+, and React.* Hands-on experience working with .NET
Technologies (C#, ASP.NET, MVC).* Experience working with Agile
methodology and self-starter who can quickly acclimate to a dynamic
environment* Experience with version control systems
(GitLab/GitHub/Bitbucket)* Thorough understanding of the software
development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum* Outstanding
written/verbal communication skills* Proficient in unit testing,
preferably Jasmine* Experience using the Bootstrap framework*
Proficiency with UX/UI design and accessibility practices*
EDUCATION: 4 year degreeWHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE
(preferred qualifications:* Experience in Blazor.* Experience with
NPM front-end tool chain skills.* Experience with SASS* Combination
of candidate's education and general experience satisfies
requirements so long as the total years equate to description's
