Employee Assistance Program Trainer!This is aFlexi / PRN position
Position is remote but does require some in person trainings in the
Virginia Richmond/Peninsula area.Training may vary outside of day
shift hours.Applicants must be located in or willing to relocate to
Richmond/Peninsula Virginia area.Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's level degree
- 8 years training experience
- 5 years of curriculum development, instructional design, and
facilitation of training for adult learners
- Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and methodology
- Excellent verbal communication skills with public speaking and
group discussion expertise, and excellent written communication
skills with proofreading and copyediting proficiency
- Strong technical skills and experience using Microsoft Office
and video conferencing platforms
- Experience engaging a variety of business partners and learning
audiences
- Experience prioritizing workload and adapting to changing
circumstancesPrimary responsibilities include:
- Develop, design, produce and facilitate high-quality personal
and professional skills development training courses that support
the mission of Optima EAP
- Assess client needs, make effective recommendations, and
provide professional consultation to organizational leaders
regarding employee development and effectiveness
- Create training curriculum and produce related training
material, as well as customized educational pieces
- Use influencing skills and facilitation practices to support
development of employees at all levels of an organization.Sentara
