retired candidates are most welcome! The HR manager will recruit
candidates, schedule interviews, and negotiate salary offers and
sign-on packages for both the exempt and non-exempt levels and
responsible for new hire orientation/training/company
implementation including backgroundchecks.com, new hire reporting
and E-Verify. Communicates effectively to other departments for
seamless company introduction. The HR Manager analyzes FLSA
compensation structure and revises job descriptions on all levels
and aligns resumes with all contractual requirements. This program
analysis includes developing program objectives, identifying
resources (human resources and monetary) and finding solutions to
meet program goals. Tracks average benefits provision and turn-over
and retention rates. Reconciles benefits invoices. and Conducts
open enrollment. The HR manager completes annual Affirmative Action
Plan, EEO-1 reporting and VETS -4212 reporting. Captures data
management in Excel and QuickBooks for employee benefits, voluntary
and involuntary deductions etc. Manages the company's medical,
dental, vision, disability, life and safe harbor 401(K) plan.
Responsible for termination unemployment processes, COBRA and
worker's compensation, FMLA policy and benefits information and
company turnover calculation. Works in the National Industry
Security Program as the FSO. Must have working knowledge of DISS,
SWFT, NISS and FieldPrint. As FSO is solely responsible for FCL and
PCLs. Enforces and updates Standard Security Practice Procedures.
Works with DCSA utilizing the Insider Threat program,
Counterintelligence Domain Program. Utilizes the Security Awareness
Program, Courier Program, Classified Inventory Program, Classified
Visitor Program, and COMSEC Emergency Action Plan. Executes CONUS
and OCONUS visit request and badge/ID requirements (CAC, DBIDs,
NNSY NAVSEA, etc.) Provides safeguarding inventory control of
classified materials and conducts custody briefings. Required
Experience:Required Qualifications and Experience:+ Ten (10) years
management experience+ Demonstrated knowledge of industry trends
and best practices with regards to EEOC and DCSA regulations.+
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks+ Provide
company policy and procedural input and development+ Must be able
to work independently+ Strong communication and interpersonal
skills+ Must already possess a current SECRET clearanceOther
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities+ Ability to work in a fast-pace
environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time
and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules+
Experience in the ship repair (AIT) industry a plus+ Excellent
organizational and time management skills+ Expert computer skills,
specifically Microsoft Office Suite+ Exceptional problem-solving
