Duties We are seeking a dependable and hardworking
Dishwasher/Utility Worker to join our Dietary Services team at the
Veterans Care Center. This position plays an essential role in
maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment to
support high?quality meal service for our resident veterans. The
Dishwasher/Utility Worker is responsible for operating dishwashing
equipment, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas, transporting
supplies, and assisting with basic food service tasks as needed.
The ideal candidate is organized, attentive to detail, and
committed to supporting the health and well-being of those who have
served our country. Schedule: Rotating 6:00am-2:00pm and/or
11:30am-8:00pm. 5 says a week every other weekend. Responsibilities
include but not limited to: •Load, operate, and unload commercial
dish machines safely and efficiently •Inspect dishes for
cleanliness and rewash items as needed •Maintain clean and
organized dish racks, shelves, and storage areas •Sweep and mop
dish room floors throughout the shift •Empty trash: replace liners
as needed •Clean sinks, counters, and prep surfaces in the dish
area •Set up and maintain hydration station, lobby coffee and
pastry area, war room coffee station, and orientation cart •Clean
and sanitize all assigned stations, equipment, and kitchen carts at
the end of each shift •Break down and clean kitchen equipment as
assigned •Assist with general kitchen cleaning during slow periods
•Restock clean dishes, utensils, and cookware to the appropriate
stations •Help receive, unpack, and store deliveries •Communicate
low stock of dish supplies (racks, soap, sanitizer, gloves, etc.)

for: •Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines (SERV Safe
standards) •Maintain proper chemical usage and dilution levels
•Report any equipment issues or safety hazards immediately •Keep
walkways and work areas free of clutter and spills •Set up and
maintain hydration station, lobby coffee and pastry area, war room
coffee station, and orientation cart •Complete and record daily
temperature logs •Deck brush and deep clean kitchen floors twice
