Job Opportunity: Neonatologist

Join a highly collaborative and innovative team at Henrico Doctors Hospital in Richmond, VA, the city's largest delivery center featuring a Level III NICU. We are dedicated to providing exceptional neonatal care in a state-of-the-art single-family room NICU environment, ensuring a family-centered approach to our patients.

• Provide exceptional neonatal intensive care in a 40-bed Level III NICU.
• Collaborate with a dedicated group of Neonatologists for continuous 24/7 in-house coverage.
• Utilize advanced therapies such as High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation, High-Frequency Jet Ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, and therapeutic hypothermia.
• Work alongside on-site pediatric surgery and cardiology specialists to ensure comprehensive care.
• Coordinate with a nurse-led neonatal transport team for patient transfers and emergencies.
• Deliver care focused exclusively on NICU patients with a single-family room model.
• Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and clinical research.
• Contribute to a team culture valuing innovation, education, and family support.
• Not accepting Locums candidates.
• Not accepting visa candidates.

• Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Board Certified in Pediatrics.
• Virginia medical license or willingness to obtain a Virginia license.
• Clean malpractice and license history (highly preferred).
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) is required.

• Medical license to practice in Virginia (or willingness to obtain).
• Board Certified (BC) Pediatrics.
• Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) Neonatology.
