Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and resourceful
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated team of
healthcare professionals. In this role, the SLP will provide vital
therapies for patients in their homes, focusing primarily on
pediatric patients. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for
developmental support and a commitment to helping patients achieve
their highest level of communication and swallowing functionality.
The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat disorders related to
speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and
fluency. Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify patient
needs and establish treatment goals. Plan and implement specialized
therapy techniques to improve patient speech and swallowing
abilities. Educate family or other caregivers on how to support the
patient's therapy goals. Maintain accurate records and
documentation pertaining to patient conditions and care provided.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure
comprehensive patient care. Stay updated with the latest trends and
developments in speech therapy. Participate in continuous education
to enhance personal skills and meet regulatory requirements.
Expertise in pediatric speech and language disorders. Strong
understanding of communication development and assistive
technology. Ability to create and follow through on treatment
plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in documenting and patient data management systems.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license. Certificate
of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from
the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
