Job Highlights: • Seeking a Board Certified Trauma Surgeon to lead a high-performing team specializing in trauma, acute care surgery, and surgical critical care, working alongside physicians and APPs. • 510-bed non-profit teaching hospital. Level II trauma center. Epic EMR with AI enhancements. • Must be American board-certified in General Surgery with fellowship training in Trauma and Surgical Critical Care. • Participate as a member of the clinical team while serving as Medical Director for the program. Leadership experience is required. Responsibilities include attending meetings, leading process improvement initiatives, managing staff scheduling and call, enforcing policies and procedures, supporting team engagement, and providing overall program oversight. • Financial package includes base salary, medical director stipend, production bonuses, and quality incentives. • Comprehensive HR benefits, paid malpractice including tail coverage, annual CME allowance, signing bonus, relocation assistance and more.
