Pharmacist Location: Chesapeake, VA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $3,400 to $3,600 per week Shift Information: Evenings - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $85.00 - $90.00/Hourly. Summary: An Inpatient Pharmacist is responsible for the safe and effective use of medications within a hospital or healthcare facility. They review medication orders, ensure proper dosing, monitor patient outcomes, and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care. Locals not accepted Responsibilities: ?Review and verify physician medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness. Dispense medications to inpatient units in accordance with hospital protocols. Monitor patient medication therapy for effectiveness, interactions, and side effects. Adjust dosages based on patient-specific factors (age, weight, renal function, etc.). Provide drug information and clinical guidance to physicians, nurses, and staff. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds with healthcare teams. Requirements Requirements: 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience required; travel experience preferred, EPIC charting experience required, BLS Certification, VA State License Required, Certified Pharmacist, Registered Pharmacist, Locals not accepted.
