Care Location: Chesapeake, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,110 per

Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified
ICU/Critical Care RN in Chesapeake, Virginia, 23320! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13
weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 3
years of Critical Care experience preferred, strong candidates with
less experience will be considered. Must have strong neuro
experience, including post-neurosurgical, external ventricular
drain (EVD), and stroke care. License: Current Virginia or compact
license in hand at the time of submission, no exceptions.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS required via American Heart Association.
NIHSS required. Must-Have: Must be willing to float to the Stepdown
Unit. May also float to ED/MedSurg to care for ICU patients being
held. EPIC proficiency is required, without exceptions. Candidates
must not have any prior license or background hits. Description:
This position is located in a beautiful area known for its outdoor
recreational opportunities. The facility offers trails for all
levels of hikers and numerous waterways to explore. Candidates must
have significant neuro experience, including managing ventilation,
IV drip titration, telemetry monitoring, conscious sedation,
dysrhythmia management, and emergency response. Patient populations
will include those with neurosurgical issues, respiratory failure,
renal failure, post-surgical care, trauma, sepsis, and heart
failure. Nurse-to-patient ratios are expected to be between 1:2 to
1:3. Candidates will be part of an interdisciplinary team that
includes various support services. Patient demographics include
adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Candidates should be
comfortable with foundational critical care skills and procedures.
Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory. There will be no
acceptance of candidates who reside less than 50 miles from the
