Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Smithfield, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,092 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS Must-Have: Telemetry experience required Epic charting system experience required Description: Brand new facility just opened in January. Seeking telemetry RNs with a minimum of two years of experience. Local candidates are welcome. BLS and NIHSS certifications are required. Candidates should have charge experience, which is preferred. Patient ratios on the unit are 6:1 during the day and night shifts. Candidates must be comfortable managing patients with various diagnoses such as CHF, HTN, and dementia. Experience with general medical patients that require telemetry monitoring is essential. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. General surgical patients, as well as orthopedic joint replacement patients, will be treated. Floating may be requested based on the facility's needs.
