We are seeking a Locum Tenens Cardiothoracic Surgeon in
Virginia. Locum Tenens Cardiothoracic Surgeon Position Type: Locum

Virginia Rate: Open & Negotiable Shift: Monday Friday, 7:00 am 3:30
pm clinic/OR, with 24-hour call Start Date: June 2025 End Date:
July 2025 Position Details: Patient Population: Adults (18)
Setting: Office, Hospital, Operating Room, Rounding
Responsibilities: Clinic and OR coverage with 24-hour call;
potential for locum-to-perm transition Required Procedures: Aortic
Surgery: Descending Aortic Aneurysms CABG: CABG, redo coronary
revascularization (with/without heart valve surgery), arterial
revascularization Thoracic Procedures: Pericardial window, tube
thoracostomy, thoracic aortic aneurysms Endoscopy/Thoracic Surgery:
Flexible/rigid bronchoscopy, thoracotomy, lung resections,
pneumonectomy, chest wall resection/reconstruction, mediastinal
surgery Valve/Vascular: Heart valve repair/replacement, CoreValve
system, mitral valve repair EMR System: Epic Support Staff:
Hospital surgical team Days Per Month: Flexible ALL of June and
July 2025 On-Call/Weekends: Yes, after-hours and weekend call
required Submission Requirements: Board Certification (American
Board of Thoracic Surgery) REQUIRED Active VA medical license and
DEA REQUIRED, no exceptions BLS/ACLS REQUIRED Fellowship Training
REQUIRED Case Logs REQUIRED with submission Availability for full
