registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. A registered nurse with experience in GI procedures
is needed to provide skilled nursing care in an Endoscopy unit at a
medical facility in Richmond, VA. This contract role offers the
chance to work in a specialized setting supporting both outpatient
and inpatient care. Responsibilities include assisting with
colonoscopies, EGDs, bronchoscopies, and PEG tube placements, as
well as handling scope reprocessing duties. The nurse will
collaborate with CRNAs and physicians in a close-knit team
environment, managing 1-2 procedure rooms daily, including one
dedicated to bronchoscopies and intubations. Flexibility is
required as work start and end times vary weekday to weekday, with
no call requirements. Occasional support in the OR may be needed
for room turnover. Key Qualifications: Valid RN license Experience
performing GI procedures, bronchoscopies, and PEG tube placements
Ability to manage scope reprocessing and technical support during
procedures Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical
environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Schedule:
Monday through Friday, daytime hours with variable start and end
times No on-call responsibilities The unit features advanced
equipment including Olympus scopes and Boston Scientific
instruments, supported by Meditech expanse documentation systems.
Uniforms will be provided; nurses should wear personal blue scrubs
