City/State Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift Third (Nights) Overview: Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital located in Va. Beach, Virginia is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Surgical Stepdown Unit! This position is for a Temporary Traveler. $70 per hour This position is Full Time Night Shift! Department/Position Overview: CCU (Cardiac Care Unit) is a 12-bed high-level intermediate care unit that specializes in caring for cardiac and vascular patients before and after interventional procedures and surgeries such as cardiac catheterizations, coronary bypass surgery, carotid surgery, and peripheral vascular surgery. CCU also cares for congestive heart failure and arrhythmia patients. We do bedside transesophageal echocardiograms and cardioversions, remove chest tubes and central lines, and so much more. Education Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required Certification/Licensure - Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing - Basic Life Support (BLS) - ACLS - NIHSS Experience Must have 2 or more years of recent Intermediate acute care hospital RN experience along with respiratory fit testing.
