About the Facility A busy hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist
for locum tenens coverage. About the Facility Location The facility
is located in Portsmouth, VA. About the Clinician's Workday This
community hospital needs ongoing coverage starting in January, up
to two weeks per month. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-3
p.m., with pager call on weeknights and weekends, though call-backs
are rare. The practice runs 16 points of service with 3040 cases
daily, covering CV, general, ortho, oncology, GI, vascular, and
pediatrics (no OB, trauma, or neuro crani). Physicians work in a
medical direction model, with CV docs taking only CV call but also
