Virginia has to offer!Job OverviewWe are seeking an APP to provide
office-based care and see patients independently alongside
collaborating physicians and APPs. Our APPs mostly work within
Centers of Excellence built around specific urologic conditions.
Office-based procedures can be taught if desired. Most common
diagnoses would include: kidney stones, male voiding dysfunction,
female voiding dysfunction, elevated PSA/prostate cancer, erectile
dysfunction, etc.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate a high
degree of general medical and urological knowledge and exercise
independent judgment as appropriateAssess the patients medical
condition by completion of a urological examinationDocument
appropriately and communicate with the appropriate physician in a
timely manner as required, including, but not limited to:
evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, treatment notes,
and other reports as requestedOrder and evaluate laboratory,
radiological and diagnostic testsPrescribe, monitor, and adjust
medications and devices based on the patients medical
conditionDevelop and perform treatment plans in accordance with
established protocolsOrder physical therapy, occupational therapy
and/or home health care as appropriatePerform procedures in office
setting (cystoscopy, prostate biopsy, etc.) as
trainedRequirements:Required License/Experience/SkillsGraduate of
an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
