Job Description:
*Sign-on Bonus!*Patient First is accepting applications for Care
Advisor Nurse-Call Center in the Glen Allen, VA area. Patient First
provides a friendly work environment that promotes a team-oriented
philosophy.*The responsibilities of the job include, but are not
limited to, the following:** Performing comprehensive telephonic
patient assessment and following all Patient First Policies and
Procedures;* Following established clinical protocols/guidelines
and providing appropriate patient instructions according to urgency
of calls;* Complete documentation of all communication with
patients, physicians, staff, employer, or insurance companies in
the patient medical record;* Uses, protects, and discloses patient
Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with Heath
Insurance Portability and Accountability act (HIPAA) standards;*
Expediting emergency calls as needed;* Helping develop new members
of the nurse call center.*Minimum education and professional
requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:** High
school graduate or equivalent;* State license as a registered nurse
in good standing;* Clinical experience with Patient First a plus;*
Utilization review and call center experience a plus;* Computer
skills and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel (required);*
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that requires strong
oral, written and interpersonal communication, problem solving,
facilitation and analytical skills.Patient First is an equal
