VISTA is assisting a large Geriatric Care group in Virginia with their search for a physician for locums coverage. They will accept Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric specialists. This client rarely has locums opportunities, so please take advantage and apply today! This is a coastal town with endless restaurants, outdoor activities, shopping, and night life. JOB DETAILS: * Location- Virginia Beach, VA * NO FLOATING, will work at one site * Schedule- M-F, 730A-5P with 80 minute lunch * Caseload- 18-22 PPD (3 are walk ins) * NO Call in traditional sense. Every doc is given a work cell and laptop, and can expect their patients to have that cell #, avg of 3 texts and a phone call per week * BC in FP/IM/GERI, no others will be accepted * Skills- Must be able to manage highly acute cases, tech savvy, experienced and driven, EMR experience a MUST. * Site details- Onsite labs, xray, and pharmacy * License- State license required * Additional Certs- BLS, DEA * COVID Vaccine- Required, exemptions for religion and medical are acceptable, please note in PRE * Cred Priv- Can be done in 1 week, no hospital privs required.
