Responsible for the delivery of high quality services that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Analyzes patient data and suggests physician protocol for confirming patient diagnosis; acts as a consultant to pathologists, physicians and other team members; identifies needs and implements training to ensure competency of laboratory staff. Coordinates the development and implementation of new lab services within the Sentara facility. Contributes to the success of the organization through achievement of system, hospital and departmental goals and objectives.

Bachelor's Degree in the Sciences acceptable. Five (5) years' of Histocompatibility experience and CHT or CHS certification only required within the Transplant Immunology Lab.
