Virginia Beach Virginia, is looking for a flexi-pool (PRN) Nuclear
Medicine Technologist Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is a
276-bed acute care facility offering specialized, tertiary
services. SVBGH is the region's only Level III Trauma Center and
home to Sentara Heart Center, which is the portal to a
sophisticated array of quality cardiac services with outcomes that
surpass national standards. SVBGH is also one of only ten Advanced
Primary Stroke Centers in Virginia certified by the Joint
Commission. Other clinical services at this facility include
Palliative Care Program, the Coastal Cancer Center, Diabetes
Center, Orthopedics, Accredited Sleep Disorders Center, and an
Inpatient Rehab Unit.

and Requirements:Performs and analyze all diagnostic and
therapeutic Nuclear Medicine Procedures. Performs to all quality
control and quality assurance standards as prescribed by all state,
federal, and local agencies. Provide the best patient care and
practice radiation safety standards at all times.Required
Education:Bachelor's Level Degree - NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGY
OR
Trade School Graduate - RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGYLicenses and
Certifications:Required: Amer Reg of Radiologic Tech, Basic Life
Support, Cert Nuc Med TechOther:Trade School degree in Radiologic
Technology or bachelors in Nuclear Medicine or related field
required. ARRT or CNMT - Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT
or CNMT must be registered within one year of hire.Sentara offers
