Sentara Independence, an outpatient campus now aligned with the quality physicians and services at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, provides your local, convenient access to outpatient services including:

• Emergency Care - Open 24/7, the free-standing Emergency Department will be
• Staffed by the same high quality, board-certified emergencyphysicians you have come to know and trust. If your needs requirea more intense level of care, our skilled staff will provide stabilizingtreatment and transfer you to the nearest appropriate hospital.Position Details and Requirements:Responsible for the order entry process, communication and guest relations, medical record maintenance/analysis, responsible for transporting, lifting, positioning of patients, and various non-technical/clerical duties. Demonstrates competency in the operation of radiologic systems for the management and transfer of digital images to complex media and converting images on film to digital formats.Required Education:High School Grad or EquivalentExperience:None, unless noted in the "Other" section belowLicenses and Certifications:Required: Basic Life SupportSkills:Required: Communication, Critical Thinking, Microsoft Office, Speaking, Technology/Computer, WritingOther:Medical Assistants and Medical Administrative Assistants will be considered with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a medical environment preferred.Sentara offers an attractive array of benefits to include:
