Medical Temporaries, Inc. has a position available for a Medical Receptionist to work in Virginia Beach.Job Title: Medical ReceptionistRequirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent ; Associates Degree Preferred with one year of relevant work experience.Location: Virginia BeachHours: 9:00am to 5:00pm Tuesday, Thursday, and 9am to 1pm on Friday Type: Temp to Hire/Part TimeStart Date: ASAPHourly Pay Rate: $13-$15 per hour depending on experienceSpecialty: Cosmetic and Plastic SurgeryCOVID Vaccination Required or Weekly Testing Summary: Responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate staff, greeting and checking in patients for appointments, including paperwork for patients to fill out, scanning intake forms, entering all information into the EHR system and working closely with the physician and staff.Duties: Greets patients, gathers information, customer service, scanning information into EHR, schedules appointments, collects payments, charge entry, maintain cleanliness of waiting room, assists other staff as needed, and abides by HIPAA rules and regulations.Other RequirementsEducation: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associates Degree Preferred.Skills: Multi-tasking, organizational, strong verbal and written communication, and ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments.
