Job Summary This position is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate coordination of ABG's operational vehicle in fleeting and disposal transactional processing activities, including fleet registrations, fleet deletions, vehicle title management, and vehicle access key control. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in multi-state, high volume fleet operations, retail and alternative channel fleet distribution, registrations, titling, deal processing, fleet accounting and financial controls. Prior leadership experience includes the ability to hire, terminate, train, coach, counsel and empower team members to reach and exceed performance expectations. Excellent customer service skills, oral and written communication skills, Lean/Six Sigma process improvement familiarity, and the ability to manage large scale projects is required. Job Duties Direct and oversee the Shared Services Fleet Operations Department to ensure the proper timely and accurate adherence to accounting policy, financial controls, operational requirements, legal compliance, and company guidelines is maintained. Provide support to retail stores, wholesale teams, and field operations to produce increased revenue, control expenses, contribute to internal and external customer satisfaction, and improve our employee efficiency. Develop, implement, monitor, reconcile and adhere to monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial business plans, estimates, and forecast projections. Safeguard the assets of the company. Establish adequate segregation of duties and processes to minimize operational and financial risks. Oversee and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws. Evaluate the efficiency and productivity of the department, continually exploring opportunities to increase efficiency, productivity, and accuracy. Apply Lean Six Sigma techniques to identify and implement process improvement opportunities. Follow ABG company policy in relations to Human Resource policies and procedures relating to employee direction and engagement: hire, terminate, train, coach, provide leadership, develop staff, counsel staff, set goals, celebrate, recognize and reward positive performers. Ensure that Company Policies are communicated and followed. Initiates corrective action as applicable. Assist with strategic and operational planning as requested. Comply with the internal and external reporting requirements in accordance with guidelines, format, and the time frames requested. Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting. Ensure team members understand and comply to ABG's documentation security policies and procedures. Experience Required: Minimum 7-years increasing experience in Fleet, Operations, and/or Finance in a large scale vehicle management setting. Prefer 3-5 years' experience in retail automotive dealership finance. Requires advanced analytical skills with strong math aptitude; Must possess a high level of attention to detail, with ability to work independently and in teams; Excellent oral and written communication skills required; Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of the organization up to and including Senior Management; Proven experience building and growing successful teams; 6.CDK system knowledge a plus. Bachelor's Degree in Finance; accounting; business management; international business. MBA preferred.
