As a Ports & Maritime Senior Project Manager, you'll be a leader within our local Ports & Maritime group and work with our multi-disciplinary team of engineers on projects all over the world. You'll lead teams in the design, analysis, and delivery of projects ranging from local Tidewater waterfront developments to large-scale container terminal and military facility repair and new construction. You will work closely with our in-house coastal, civil, geotechnical, engineer-divers, and marine structural engineering team to manage and deliver complex port, waterfront, and resiliency design projects. During your time with us, you will be responsible for the pursuit of new work, client engagement, proposal development, preparation and review of structural calculations / designs, and construction management. Here's What You'll Need:--- Substantial experience in the design and construction of marine structures --- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field --- Professional Engineer license in the State of Virginia --- Experience with and knowledge of UFC / ACI / AISC / AASHTO design standards --- Familiarity with structural analysis software, preferably STAAD.Pro --- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit drafting software --- Excellent writing and communication skills --- Experience in the preparation of construction drawings, cost estimates, and technical specifications --- Ability to manage multiple tasks and/or project design teams independently Ideally, you'll also have: --- Familiarity with local Tidewater clients, including but not limited to: o NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic, Virginia Port Authority, VDOT, CBBT, and local municipalities. --- Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering --- Familiarity with international codes such as ASCE, Eurocode, and British Standard Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
