Job Description:

DroneUp is seeking a VP of Product Management that will lead and mentor a team of product managers that own their respective product visions, new and emerging trends and customer solutions. In this role, the VP will monitor sprints and evaluate results, own roadmaps and communicate to stakeholders critical timelines as well as oversee new product roll out and implementation.

Responsibilities
Provide leadership to the Product team which includes ownership of the product lifecycle from concept to launch across all product lines.
Identify and prioritize product planning for sprints across all products - both digital and physical products
Collaborate with the Development team to prioritize product development and iterations
Drive innovation and unique solutions across products
Serve as primary point of contact for internal stakeholders on product vision, roadmap and critical product development milestones
Monitor sprints and evaluate results
Collaborate with team members and peers on how to define and communicate product strategy
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Strategy or related field
8 or more years of Product Management experience with at least 3 years in a Product leadership role
Demonstrable customer focused mindset with the ability to translate key client needs into new product solutions
Deep understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies
Ability to prioritize competing demands of innovation, quality and operational improvements
PMP, Six Sigma or Agile certification preferred
Part 107 certification and in-depth knowledge of the Drone industry a plus
Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
