Job Description:

In this role, you will---

Oversee the Default Cashiering Processes to ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly goals are maintained and made available to managers and supervisors for review.
Develops and supports team responsible for processes and development of reporting to track operational performance daily, weekly, monthly and annually.
Supports default cash operations in analyzing, planning, developing, and monitoring strategies and tactics to achieve business objectives.
Responsible for reporting monthly business operations performance.
Develops and supports management information needs through periodic performance reporting, forecasting, and analysis
Identifies and documents when company standards, or any regulations, have not been followed.
Facilitate remediation of findings inclusive of the gathering and storing of evidence
Process requests for information and research from clients and customers by way of internal departments.
Apply your knowledge of default servicing rules and guidelines to drive resolution.
Provide feedback to enhance processes using knowledge gained through daily research.
Collaborate with internal teams on behalf of the Default Operations Team.
Respond to requests according to departmental guidelines and procedures.
Provide employee training.
Ensure the meeting of daily production as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages the operations of the cashiering department relating to all default activities.
Oversees the completion of the process flow.
Maintains accurate records of each function with the default cashiering department and ensures these functions are in line with state and agency requirements.
Establishes procedures for default cash and ensures the proper controls are in place.
Reports to government agencies as required.
Keeps informed on government regulations pertaining to loan servicing.
Ensures all borrower funds are disbursed accordingly following payoff or loan removal. Create strategies to streamline the disbursement process.
Through supervisors and team leads distributes work assignments to default cash staff.
Performs quality control reviews as needed.
Manages vendors used in conjunction with departments under management.
Develops products and assists with promoting those products used within the departments under management.
Responsible for requesting, creating/preparing, updating/revising, reviewing, testing, finalizing/approving, conduct training and maintain the departments policies and procedures.
Resolve research requests to the Default Cashiering Department.
Create process necessary for wire transfer, etc.
Work with all departments in default
All other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
---
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field strongly preferred; with knowledge in a leading default operation.
Analytical ability sufficient to apply data and information to the solution of administrative and operating problems.
Considerable knowledge of workflow processes, staffing needs, and operational costs in a processing operation.
Leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, train, coach, evaluate performance, and lead a multi-functional staff in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
3-5 years with experience in Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, REO, and other default support functions.
Ability to build professional relationships with senior leadership and/or clients.
Ability to develop and manage a process flow.
Ability to create new process and procedures.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction and to meet deadlines.
Demonstrate ability to read, interpret, and analyze accounts and records of a complex, detailed and recurring nature.
Analytical ability sufficient to apply data and information to the solution of administrative and operating problems.
Ability to prepare an operating budget, anticipate and explain variances.
Ability to work collaboratively with peers, company managers, and customers in a team environment to attain common goals.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Considerable knowledge of and ability to use automated accounting systems; ability to use personal computers, peripherals, business software, and applications specific to organizational needs.
Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume and time sensitive environment.
